Barcadia Data Services is in build. The capabilities below describe the service we are opening to approved customers; the customer portal is not live yet, and live content is currently limited to a small set of test organisations.

See who has changed firm, which records are duplicates and which values have not been checked for a while.

Plans differ by how many eligible records you will be able to export. Allowances are indicative while the export pipeline is built, and every plan is applied for.

Planned allowance: up to 2,500 records per export

Trust and governance
We combine public registers with data collected directly by Barcadia, and we are explicit about what each source allows.
Where the data comes from
- FCA
- The public register of authorised firms and individuals, used for regulatory status, permissions and registered-office details.
- Companies House
- The public company register, used for legal identity, company numbers and registered addresses.
- ICO
- The register of data-protection fee payers, used to check that organisations handling personal data are registered.
- First-party Barcadia data
- Information given to Barcadia directly by individuals and firms, for example through publications, events and enquiries. None has been admitted to the service yet.
What you will be able to see
Availability depends on three things: the provenance of each value, the licence attached to its source, and the purpose your organisation was approved for. Two customers can therefore see different fields on the same record, and some records will be visible but not exportable.
